Teacher of Technology

specialising in Hard Materials and DVC

FULL-TIME PERMANENT POSITION (1SU)

Commencing Term 1, 2018 or by negotiation

We are seeking Full-Time, Permanent Teacher of Technology to lead and teach Hard Materials and DVC. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and highly skilled with curriculum knowledge and expertise up to NCEA Level 3 and Scholarship and will be joining a high performing, progressive, forward thinking and well-resourced department. The candidate should be focused on student engagement, positive relationships, achievement and excellence. Our classrooms are learner-focused and dynamic. Our teachers adopt a growth mindset and reflective practice. You will join a positive working environment which is supported by our staff wellbeing programme.

TEACHER AIDE 

2 positions

Part-Time; Fixed-Term; Term Time Only

We are seeking enthusiastic, passionate and motivated Teacher Aides with great initiative and communication skills to join our vibrant Learning Support Department. The successful candidates will be required to work with a variety of students across the College from Year 7-13 with various special needs and talents. You will also need to work as a team member with teachers and other staff members and should be empathetic to the needs of young adolescents. All candidates are required to support the Special Character of the College.

Two Fixed-Term positions, both commencing 30 January 2018 until 13 December 2018:
(1) 15 hours per week with negotiable hours and (2) 27.5 hours per week spread over five days with working hours 9.00am – 3.00pm each day.
