Another successful cultural festival

From mesmerising fan dances to the intricate Filipino ‘Tinikling’ dance, we can all agree that 2017’s cultural festival was a huge success. It was a time where we, as a school community, got to celebrate our diversity.

This was very special. Students coming from a range of cultural backgrounds and different countries were able to showcase their talents as well as their culture.

The staff, visitors, as well as the rest of the students were able to witness the various cultural dances. All students and staff were amazed by the hard work and the effort put into each item performed. Performances ranged from in-sync K-pop dances to exotic dances from the islands of Samoa.

The students as well as the staff enjoyed and supported all of the performances. Cheers and applause came after each group performed their items.

We must thank the teachers, especially Ms Kevern who organized this event, the students who have worked countless hours on their dances, and of course everyone who attended this very special event.

We hope to see even more cultures represented at next year’s festival.
