Brown paper bags

To add to our successful Enviroweek, the students were given brown paper bags to decorate and to bring their lunch in.

The Year 7 and 8s came into class, on Thursday, with their beautifully decorated brown paper bags. Everyone was extremely proud to see that some had really gone out of their way to create a compelling message that complimented their environmental masterpiece.

These students also came up with many bright ideas on how to reduce plastic in their lunches. They brought nude food such as fruits and they brought items such as sandwiches in smaller white paper bags, tinfoil and beeswax cloth.

All these actions were immensely powerful and inspiring.

It was, without a doubt, very impressive to see our younger students creating a priceless piece of art and really thinking about being plastic-free.
