Environment Week off to Green start

Green list MP Chloe Swarbrick visited the school Monday lunch time to get Environment Week off to a flying start. Ms Swarbrick is the youngest politician to enter Parliament since Marilyn Waring in 1975.

Her talk to a large group of interested students covered many topics, ranging from the importance of being part of change to how environmental issues need to be tackled globally if we are to find long lasting solutions.

Students left for period 5 inspired by her undoubted passion and determination to make a difference.
