Hayley Kevern is an outstanding pianist. She joined the senior Jazz Combo and Big Band last year and decided to continue this year. She says, ‘When you play as a group, it helps you improve your own musicianship. It also lets you appreciate how everyone playing their own part can contribute to creating something much better that you could do by yourself.’
Hayley has been playing the piano for 7 years. It is her hobby. She says it is good to start playing an instrument because, ‘it helps to grow your confidence in performing and you get to meet other people who have the same interest as you.’
Hayley will be performing at the Jazz Night and encourages you to come and support all the musicians. It is on Friday 21st September, 6:30pm – 8:30pm. You will be entertained and can be assured of a very enjoyable evening.
Tickets only $8 Adults, $6 Students (children under 10 are free) when pre- ordered through the school cashier.
You will also be able to purchase tickets at the door, $10 Adults, $7 Students (children under 10 free).
