Kapa Haka welcomes ERO team

As a school that strives for the best learning environment for its students, Sancta Maria College begins its scheduled ERO review this week, an opportunity for the school to show off the dedication and hard work of both staff and students.

By being able to share in the school’s journey since our last ERO review in 2015, it will allow us to gain insight and receive vital feedback on how to grow as a school and ensure that our students will be provided the best possible learning experience for years to come.

Led by Head Boy Dominic Stolten, along with Cultural Prefects, Helen Pahulu and Cameron Carter-Chan, the Kapa Haka group welcomed the ERO team with both a breathtaking waitata and a stunning rendition of Tenei Te Whanau — a song written just for the College — with the stirring performance representing all that the College has to be proud of. In response, the ERO team led by Mr John Witana replied with a waiata of their own, before a formal Hongi greeting with Mr Brabant (Board of Trustees Chairperson) and the Senior Leadership Team.

Over the coming week, we hope that The Education Review Office enjoys interacting with the amazing people that make up our College community.
