Last Thursday, Niamh Walsh was one of a select group of students invited to join the Minister for Climate Change, James Shaw, in launching public consultation on the Zero Carbon Bill.
This important new piece of climate change legislation sets a new target for New Zealand to achieve a net zero emissions, climate resilient economy by 2050 and establishes the policy frameworks and institutions to get us there – no matter what government is in power.
