Picture Books delight listeners

On 20 November 7LIS went over to Sancta Maria Catholic Primary School to share their picture books.

The students had to create a story that included a moral. They also needed to illustrate and design their picture book. 7LIS had worked on their picture books for at least an hour every day for about a month.

The first class they went to was Room 4, where every member of 7LIS buddied up and read their picture books. When they had finished with a buddy they swapped buddies with another member of 7LIS.

They then went to Room 6 and took turns to read their picture books one by one to the class. The students clapped louder and louder each time. The Sancta Maria Catholic Primary School children seemed to have really enjoyed 7LIS’ picture books and 7LIS enjoyed reading to them.

We were so excited to distribute our creations that we wrote and illustrated ourselves. Although we were nervous, we were curious to see what others thought.
