Sancta Maria College has given the students the opportunity to get closer to Mary by praying the Rosary.
The RE Department with the help of the senior God Squad planned a very special month of May for the students at Sancta Maria College. Every day with the exception of Wednesday, the students are given the chance to pray the rosary along with other students and teachers. It gives us the opportunity to pray one of the most beautiful prayers, The Rosary, and gives us a sense of closeness to Mother Mary, our school patroness.
At 8am and 11am, students are invited to come into the chapel and use one of the rosaries that are provided and join in a very spiritual and prayerful experience.
The school bell is also rung at midday during May so that classes briefly pause as the whole school prays the Angelus together.
