“Their passion for the game led them to win,” says coach Mr Tamayo, “they thought of each other as brothers.”
And 12 games played, twelve games won, shows how this young group of basketball players were carried through a successful season bonded by this special spirit.
The team of Justin Ang, Owen Tamayo, Ben Manuyag, Gerard Domingo, Oscar Ng, Karl Guarin, Josh Bandola, Oliver Tamayo, Herschelle Hendricks, JL Lopez, Angelo Matanguihan and Thomas Wood saw off all opponents, clinching the title on Tuesday with a 51-38 win over One Tree Hill College.
