Have you ever wanted to be able to customise your own wand as in Harry Potter? A small group of Year 7 and 8s had this opportunity on Thursday morning during late start.
They gathered in the library and were each given a base wand on which to build their designs out of hot glue and a variety of embellishments including beads, spiders and paint. More than one Elder wand was created, along with recreations of both Hermione’s and Luna’s wands.
All participants were able to make their wand completely their own, and were very impressed by the outcome. We definitely have a few young witches and wizards to watch out for!
