The Year 7 Mathex teams enjoyed solving tricky maths word problems on August 23. There were 2 teams made up of 4 participants. In team A there was Samuel Hong, Alicia McGivern, Sophie Cranwell and Rohan Rodrigues. They scored 40 points. Team B scored 60 points and was made up of Ben Botting, Lucas Cooper, Avram Taguinod and Antonie Smal. They all enjoyed their time at the competition.
Most of the students stayed after school on Thursdays, spending their time solving maths problems with Mrs Krishna. She helped and guided them through solving tricky questions. Many interested students had joined Mrs Krishna’s Mathex class but only a few were selected after an inhouse competition.
