Year 7s Have an ‘Ama-sing’ Time

With singing so loud it could be heard a mile away, the Year 7 homerooms filled the air of a cool Friday morning with the sounds of their hard work and practice over the last few weeks.

As the culmination of a term long programme organised by the Year 11 Peer Support leaders, each homeroom went onto the stage and sang their hearts out, each class battling it out for the title of Year 7 Sing-Off Champions. Armed with funky dance moves and unparalleled enthusiasm, every single student performed admirably and had loads of fun at the same time!

Also not to be forgotten is the hard work put in by the Peer Support teachers: Mrs Kevern, Mrs Du Burgess and Mr Saunders, for all their time and effort they put into helping organise the Peer Support programme, allowing the younger students to have such a great event enjoyed by all!
