Monday was the first day at AIMS games for our very own 8A netball team. It is the biggest sporting event and is underway at Tauranga with athletes from New Zealand and the Pacific participating in 23 different sports. There are 6 different venues with netball being held Blake Park.
Our team played three games today. They were faced with tough opposition and lost all three games by close margins. They woke up to rain on the roof in the morning, but the day continued mostly dry, just a little cold nip in the air.
