Thank you to all our Year 9 students who participated in the Readers Cup competition which took place in the Library’s Quiet room during lunchtime on Monday 3 April. Readers Cup is an interschool competition designed to promote a love of reading and literature.
The Readers Cup is held every year and open to all Year 9 students who are avid readers – this year, seven students entered the competition to fight over five winning spaces. The chosen five then go on to represent the school in June’s Auckland wide competition.
It was a hard-fought race and there weren’t many points separating our top 5, but the winning students were:
Danielle Orange, Samantha Avis, Jade Howse, Matthew Ye, Precious Garica.
We wish them all the very best in their preparations for the regional competition held in June. Good luck team.
