The goal of Pink Shirt Day is to promote compassion, respect, and inclusivity while also raising awareness of the damaging effects of bullying. It’s a day when our entire community comes together to stand up against bullying. Everyone in school had the opportunity to make a stand against bullying by wearing something pink with the school uniform on Friday 19 May 2023 – expressing support and trying to make a difference. Every corner of our classroom was covered in pink as classes across all year levels made an effort to have the nicest decorations! Pink shirt day encouraged fun-filled little deeds of kindness toward one another. By working together, we hopefully made the world a place where everyone is respected, appreciated, and safe. Let’s share some kindness everywhere we go!
