On 20 June 2023, our Year 10 Business Studies students transformed the C Block courtyard into a bustling Market Day during lunch. The students had prepared throughout the preceding term and presented the results of their detailed preparations to the class. As a result of their research and preparations, there was a wide variety of products on display at the Market Day for people to purchase, including bubble tea, keychains, album art frames, and more.
Many students left the event feeling satisfied after buying several products from different stalls. Due to the unexpectedly demand, some groups sold-out their products, resulting in a list of pre-orders to be fulfilled.
Overall, it was a thrilling and insightful experience for the commerce students, where they learned to apply research skills, product development and sales in the real world.
