Year 13 Business Studies Market Day Stalls

We are ADZEALAND and our business builds high-quality affordable websites. At the recent school market day, we successfully hosted a photobooth that attracted many students and friends. The event was incredibly fun, with everyone enjoying the vibrant atmosphere and capturing memorable moments. Thank you to everyone who came by and supported us!

We are Aloha Curls and sell handmade curl creams. We enjoyed interacting with students of every age at the Market Day and allowing them to see our vision come to life. As a business that aims to help young people empower, embrace, and enhance their curls, it was nice to see various types of students sell out our product and find the confidence to embrace their natural beauty.

We are Amani Jewels and we sell customisable matching jewellery. We enjoyed selling our products and seeing students happy with their purchases. We were prepared despite not having much stock, and we managed to sell out completely and take pre-orders.

We are Hidden Flame, and our business sells candles with a hidden message inside that is only seen once the candle has been melted. During market day we sold eight candles with a hidden message inside them and got another seven pre-orders which helped get us halfway to our goal.

We are Nature’s Kiss and our business sells Organic Lip Oils.  We had the opportunity to sell our product at the Market Day. We enjoyed interacting with customers and promoting our business! We sold out fast and received many compliments towards our product including price, appearance and scent. Thank you to everyone who supported our business!

We are RETHINK and our business sells t-shirts. During Market Day we had the honour of bringing our vision to life. Our unisex, loose fit and versatile tees sold quickly, gaining many pre-orders for the upcoming drops. As a result of our positivity, organisation and advertising, we received an enthusiastic reaction from our customers and were able to make more than 30 sales. We enjoyed interacting with our consumers and seeing our school communities support towards mental health. We look forward to watching our business grow and spreading our passion to youth in Aotearoa!

We are Virtuous NZ. Our company sells cultural compression arm sleeves that help to improve our customers sporting performances. We enjoyed the bright and fun atmosphere that encompassed Market Day for 2024, selling our product was such a fun and exciting experience and through our efforts we managed to raise $200. Seeing other company’s run by students like us has motivated us as a company to improve our practices and products. Make sure to follow us @Virtuous.NZ on Instagram and make sure to order one of our arm sleeves.

We are Whipped Up and our business sells luxurious whipped up body butters. The Sancta Maria Market Day for 2024 was an overall success for our business team. With over 20 units sold, and the added bustling atmosphere, we were appreciative to retrieve such a positive response from our community. The number of sales and the positive engagement with new added pre-orders made our Sancta Maria Market Day an impactful experience. Here’s to smooth skin and an even smoother journey ahead for Whipped Up!!

We are Worship Apparel, and we sell Christian-themed beanies. Our business brought an incredible energy to this year’s Market Day, attracting customers from all year levels, teachers and even our two caretakers Greg and Lance! Our setup, which involved a mannequin, speaker, and megaphone, drew in a crowd allowing us to almost sell out in under an hour. Thanks to our enthusiastic team and supportive customers, we had a great day that showcased our passion and dedication to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Aeroma sold air fresheners.  We enjoyed the atmosphere of Market Day because it allowed us to interact with our market all in one place and receive necessary feedback. We were very satisfied with the number of sales we were able to make in such a short period of time (selling the majority of our product).
