Our junior Festival Choir performed at The Kids Sing in Parnell’s Holy Trinity Cathedral, bringing home a bronze award for their efforts. The event’s organisers were very impressed with our Year 7 and 8 choir for boasting a different student conductor for each of their three songs.
Senior Choir music leaders Gianna Cordiero, Ariane Cordiero and Ethan Karl conducted Vegetables (a strange and obscure Beach Boys song), O Rushing Wind and Ia Pepese Aleluia respectively, the latter song not only being conducted by Ethan but also composed by him as part of his Level 3 Music coursework.
Also helping the Choir was Year 8 student Ceron Zheng, who played piano on O Rushing Wind.
