Finally, being able to go into our buddy homerooms and interact with the students has started off superbly. From getting to know some of the Year 7 students to teaching them the importance of our 4 Cs (commitment, consideration, co-operation, confidentiality), has really enlightened us about the true importance of our role here at Sancta Maria College. When looking back to when we first started, late last year, to where we are now, I can proudly say that the Year 11 Peer Support Leaders Programme for 2016 has started off extremely well.
And this is only the beginning.
Although there is still a lot of training and work to be done, I am sure that we are all looking forward to what lies ahead of us on this amazing journey, with the help of our hard-working and diligent Peer Support Teacher Tutors and our fellow leaders within the group.
