Fifteen Year 7 and 8 students proudly represented Sancta Maria College at a Critical Thinking workshop hosted by St Cuthbert’s College.
They interacted with students from different schools and discussed fascinating topics like ‘Do you think a snail has a conscience?’
The students also participated in an interesting debate, arguing whether science has replaced God or not and listened to a university-style lecture about nano-technology.
Their ideas and opinions were challenged and they learnt plenty of new information. Overall, the students enjoyed the day and cannot wait to go again.
