Sancta Maria College had 3 swimmers represent the school at the 2017 Anchor Aims Games Swimming. Competing against 314 swimmers from 128 schools Quintin Wong (Yr7), Trelise Dance (Yr8) and Aaron Spencer (Yr8) swum exceptional races to qualify for finals, medals and break records.
Quintin Wong had a very busy schedule at the pool and achieved one of the highest medal tallies of all swimmers showing his skill in all strokes winning 8 gold medals and 2 silver. Trelise went on to show her dominance in the breaststroke events winning 2 gold and 1 silver. Aaron, also an all-rounder, qualified for 7 finals placing him in the top 10 in the country. With all swimmers beating their personal best times the ultimate achievement was Aims Games records being broken by Quintin, breaking 2, and Trelise 3.

Overall with our small team of 3 swimmers Sancta Maria College placed 5th amongst 128 schools which is a fantastic achievement.
