Year 11 Market Day a great success

Scrumptious burgers, vibrant tie dye t-shirts and beautiful peppermint scented bath bombs were some of the many mouth watering and creative things on sale at the Year 11 Market Day.

As soon as the bell went for lunch time students quickly gathered their money and raced down to the main courtyard. There were a great number of students lining up at each stall and everyone seemed to be really interested in all of the products.

It was an awesome atmosphere with crowds of people tasting the different types of food and drink, such as the doughnuts, cookies, burgers and cool slushies that were perfect for the warm weather. The slime, notebooks, candles, stress balls and other products also attracted high interest.

Some Year 7 students said that they enjoyed the Market Day and loved the variety of products that were for sale. Most of the groups had sold everything before the end of lunch, making a good profit.

Overall it was a great success for the Year 11 Commerce classes who were able to experience what it was like to run a business. All the hard work putting everything together paid off and it was definitely a day to remember.
