With the support and participation of our College’s students, teachers and parents our Athletics Day was bound to be a huge triumph. And so it was!
We had the opportunity to enjoy a day full of action packed sports such as discus, shotput, high jump, long jump, relays and our 100m, 200m and 400m track events.
We started off with our enthusiastic new Year 7 girls in the 200m track event, and ended with the most anticipated event of the day which is our house relays. All the events showed our students’ burning passion to compete and bring forth good service to their own houses.
This year showed great participation from students at all levels as we broke new records and this could only have been done by the enthusiasm of our students and the support of friends, teachers and the school community.
We would like to thank teachers, students and house prefects who have helped organize such a memorable event and also thank everyone who participated in different events, making it a very worthwhile and memorable day.
