Fun and laughter were the focal points of the Year 13 ‘give back’ assembly on Monday. The Year 13s took charge of organising the assembly with magic tricks, music, teacher awards and lots of videos.
The videos were humourous, involving teachers and students. The teacher awards included ‘best dressed’, ‘who is most likely to stay up beyond midnight to reply to an email’ and ‘the most sarcastic teacher’. Martina Kleis and Renee Wood performed a song. Martina also played the guitar.
Before they finished the assembly, the Year 13s ‘partied’ on stage with lots of music. This event was a delightful way for the Year 13 leavers to say goodbye.
