Danett Pepito, Sofia Dela Cruz and Johann Ang from 8DNN were shocked one morning to hear the news that they were going to be published in Toitoi, a magazine for students in New Zealand.
Toitoi gives talented artists and writers aged 5 – 13 the chance to be published and viewed by fellow students all over New Zealand. They believe that no matter what age you are, with the right talent, you deserve to be published and showcased worldwide – because your work was created with a purpose and should entertain a wide audience.
8DNN’s homeroom teacher, Miss Black, has constantly been sending in art and stories written by her students – with a lot of success in the art section as earlier in the year, two other students (Dennis Tam and Ana Ganias, whose successful art work is pictured) already had the opportunity to be featured in this magazine, each having produced incredible works of art.
These young artists are currently working on their drawings and still waiting for the results to be produced. Keep an eye out for their art.
