Last night the Manukau Institute of Technology (MIT) held their 2018 Prizegiving Awards for their Trades Academy students. These Year 12 and Year 13 students attended MIT one or two days a week while continuing to attend high school on the remaining days.
While all of our students that attended achieved credits towards NCEA and their MIT qualification, over half of our students that attended received awards.

The MIT Trades Academy allows our students to have the benefit of both tertiary and secondary study. With some hard work and dedication, students have the opportunity to finish school with a
minimum of NCEA Level 2 with credits towards a nationally recognised trade qualification with options ranging from automotive and agricultural to floristry and logistics (and everything in between).
