Practices have now begun for our enthusiastic chess players. Every Tuesday Week A and Wednesday Week B the Chess Club have their practices. This year we are not going to enter any competitions because many members are beginners, so we are going to wait until next year.
David Patlong, the leader of this group, took the initiative to start the Chess Club with Mr. Johnson, who is the teacher in charge. The chess players would like to thank David for giving us this opportunity to hone our skills as playing chess benefits our creative ability, academic performance and problem-solving skills.
