The boys had a great win on Saturday vs Mission Heights. Batting first we made our way to a total of 86 thanks to an excellent 22 from Jonathon Aviet, helped by Jayden Corriera who scored 16 runs.
This modest total didn’t worry the team as they set about putting pressure on the Mission Heights batsmen. Just as we did last week, with superb teamwork, we claimed 4 run outs and bowled them out for 60, taking a 26 run victory. Rory Quiding and Oscar Stewart chipped in with 2 wickets each but it was the fielding, catching and run outs that proved the difference.
An awesome effort and great to see a full squad of 12 turning up – looking forward to a big match at home next week vs Auckland Grammar.
