The 40 Hour Famine is fast-approaching, where the first fundraiser took place at Bunnings with the sought-out Sausage Sizzle! Starting on a chilly 8 am, the lead students of the 40 Hour Famine Student Committee attracted customers with their smiling faces and groovy music. With tongs in hand, 300 sausages were cooked up for hungry shoppers until sales came to a close at 4 pm. Many shoppers had commended our sausages saying they were the best sausages they had ever had, where many even snuck back to get more!
Thank you to Bunnings for providing a lovely stall and a fantastic grill for our fundraiser. Without them, this day wouldn’t have been possible. Also, a huge thank you to everyone who supported our cause and recognised our eager efforts to raise money.
