In support of the trip to Samoa, which is happening in the July holidays, the Samoan group kicked off the fundraising day by performing a song for the College at assembly on Tuesday. This was just the start of a successful day, which, with a lunch time sausage sizzle, raised $2200 towards the trip.
Students, in return for a gold coin donation, had the option to come dressed in national costume and there was multiple colours and styles on view. People were dressed in cultural clothing from India, Philippines, Indonesia, Samoa, Tonga, South Africa, New Zealand and many more nations.
