Sophia Milantoni competed in the Cross Country at AIMS Games Tauranga on Sunday 4 September.
She had a great time at the Cross Country. It was a very fast 3.0km run with some national records broken.
Sophia placed 122/162 with a time of 14:21.68 for the 3k.
Zachary Saunders competed in the Y8 boys finishing 114/160 in a time of 12:26.75 for 3.5k.
Roanne Apalisok is seeded number one for badminton and is playing over the next three days.
Callum McRae is sailing an optimist in windy conditions and lying 14th overall after Sunday’s racing.
Sophie Milantoni also competes in multisports on Wednesday.
Swimmers, Trelise Dance, Alicia Choo and Aaron Spencer, swim today and tomorrow.
The AIMS Games are very well run competitions, for Year 7 and 8 students only, across about 17 codes.
