The Y11 Art class went to the James Wallace Art Trust Museum in Hillsborough. It was an exciting experience to see all the art we had learnt about in class come to life.
We learnt about how to analyse art and really interpret the meaning of the works that we were seeing. We saw all kinds of art, from abstract to realism, but my favourite was the abstract.
We also got the see the winner of the Adam Portrait award which was amazing and beautiful. I learnt a lot that day even though we weren’t there for as long as I would have liked.
I really enjoyed the experience. It was a day to remember.
