For a welcome respite from the pressures of the last week of school, on Monday the Year 13 Physics classes visited Rainbow’s End.

Mufti day is a day when all students are able to come to school in casual wear instead of their usual school uniform. For this privilege each student is asked to donate a gold coin to a good cause.

Most people like to play the usual sports like netball, basketball or soccer. However, Year 11 student Nicola Bebelman participates in a sport that isn’t so popular – Figure skating. Yes it is a sport and in fact is part of the Winter Olympics.

The countdown is on for the 14 students and two teachers waiting excitedly to travel half way across the world to France in the hope of improving their French and experiencing the world from a different perspective.
