An exhausting week comes to a close and the curtain is drawn on the season for our senior girls’ teams. Many thanks to our reporters, Kendra Williams (netball), Miss Bradley (hockey) and Miss Goulding (football) for their daily updates. How did the teams fare on the final day? See below to find out.

This busy August has finally ended and we scored another little victory yesterday:
The Junior Choir took part in the first full-size rehearsal for the Auckland Primary Principals’ Association Festival at Remuera Intermediate.

Day 4 saw two more wins for the football girls, a first win for the hockey team and a win and a loss for our netballers.

A day of mixed fortunes with the football girls recording their first win and our netballers finding themselves up against tough opposition once again.

Last Saturday night was a big one for pop bands at Sancta Maria College. Three of our Year 7 & 8 bands represented us at the Manukau heats of Bandquest, which is the pop band competition for New Zealand schools at intermediate level.

It was a tough day at the office for Sancta Maria College teams today, with all three sides experiencing losses. However, if results go their way tomorrow, there is still the opportunity to progress further in the tournament.

PPTA and NZEI Union Meeting Tuesday 13 September, 1.15 pm – 3.15pm

Year 7 to 10 students will finish school at 1.15 pm. However, the scheduled Senior Examinations that are on this day will proceed as arranged for Years 11 to 13 students. So if a Year 11-13 student has an examination in the afternoon (as per published examination timetable), then they need to attend as
scheduled.
