This year we had four Year 7 students sit ICAS Spelling. Lucas Cooper achieved Distinction.
There were 13 Year 8 students sitting the ICAS Spelling. The top achiever, James Karl received High Distinction with a score of 100%.
Other students achieving High Distinction were Sofia Olan and Alanna Santoso. Sean Wang, Odile De Jesus, Johannah Matanguihan, Sofia De La Cruz and Ana Ganias all received Distinction awards.
Correct spelling is an invaluable writing skill, often undervalued. Spelling programmes are run by each Year 7 and Year 8 homeroom teacher.
