Kelly Mascarenhas has gained second place at the Eastern Zone Speech Finals in the Year 11 category.
The topic of Kelly’s speech was ‘Racism’ and she was delighted not only with her second placing, but also for the opportunity to be exposed to so many other ideas which will help her to improve when presenting speeches in the future.
The College was represented at Year 9 level by Elijah Ratu and at Year 10 by Ange Pierquin.
The event drew entries from six local colleges and was held in our school library.
