On 28 March 2024, the last Thursday before Easter weekend, eight prefects came together to speak on their personal experiences relating to the last seven words of Jesus. Drawing from their individual experiences and spiritual journeys, each prefect offered a personal reflection on their given last word. Their testimonies demonstrated how these last words of Christ resonated profoundly with their own lives as they spoke on themes like hope, forgiveness, and loss.
The Lenten Liturgy evolved into a passionate discussion about faith, showing how Jesus’ last words can provide meaningful understanding and motivation. As they presented their personal perspectives, each prefect shed light on the eternal significance of Jesus’ last words for their own spiritual development.
The liturgy demonstrated the eternal relevance of these passages in the lives of today’s society. Thank you to everyone who made the Liturgy a special occasion.
