Logan Fenton (second from right) attended the NZIFBB Professional League Auckland Championships on August 18, winning first place in the Auckland region for the teenage body building category. This qualifies him for the nationals, which will be held at the end of Term 3.
Logan has only been doing body building for 1 year. The reason behind it is to build his fitness and to help others become fit. His inspiration body builders such as David Laid and Jeff Seid from America. Logan twice a day trains 5-6 days a week. He believes that it is really important to eat well including eating a lot of protein.
His goal is to inspire others by showing them you do not need to use steroids to develop your muscles and succeed in body building.
Logan says that the thing about bodybuilding is that Logan is not on supplements and steroids like some body builders so he has to train harder and longer. He believes people should get into the sport to sustain a healthier lifestyle and if there is one thing that he wants to get across is for everyone to keep it natural and not take steroids or supplements to enhance their performance.
Logan will be going to the nationals on September 29.
Logan definitely wants to carry on body building into the future but says that it’s just a hobby. However, if it were to somehow turn into a career he would not say no.
