Antonie Smal (7GNS) and Ben Botting (7CLE) show their prizes for coming first in Maths Week’s Amazing Race. They raced around the school, locating six questions and answering them correctly in 12 minutes, a full minute ahead of their closest competitors.
There were daily maths quizzes, 7BRN and 8BRN sharing the prize of party packs of lollies for the best participation.
The winner of the ‘Guess the number of jelly beans in the jar’ is Letisia Fifita from 10CLE. Her guess of 245 was only one more than the actual number of 244.
It was a great week of mathematical fun and even the staff joined in with their own daily Maths quiz.
