Home baked, delicious purple cupcakes gathered a crowd at lunchtime on 23 March. Queues were lining up outside CG5. It was our annual Purple Cupcake Day organised by the Year 10 French class with the help of Madame Read.
Staff and students indulged in the wide array of purple cream swirls and sprinkles, all for a very good cause – to support children’s education in Haiti, Kenya, Nepal and Vanuatu. This year we raised a decent $305.30.
The cupcakes were so popular; everything was sold in less than 15 minutes!
Thanks to the organising committee for putting on this event: Madame Read, Chloe, Gemma, Kevin, Millie, Joyce, Felix, Nathan, Stephen, Marcellin, Finlay, Sydney, Mikayla, Lance, Zac, Thomas and Gina.
