Victoria Heald, Maddie Blincoe, Nicola Bebelman, Courtney Wertheim and Katrina Chan are members of the synchronised ice-skating team, Black Ice, who have won gold at the 2019 NZ Ice Figure Skating Championships in the Mixed Age grade, with the highest score they have had at a National Championship.
Black Ice is the highest ranked team in NZ. They have qualified to represent NZ at the Australian Nationals in Melbourne, staring on Nov 30, 2019.
You can support Black ice on November 1 at Paradice ice Rink, Botany. They are raising funds for their Melbourne trip and proposed 2020 European Tour. Come along to a Fun Skate, 6-7.30pm, cost $15.
