Filled with the Holy Spirit, the Year 10s made their way to the Korean Church full of excitement. All students were eager for a day off from school to relax and enjoy a great day of prayer and reflection through fun activities.
“Arise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.
See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples,
but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you.” (Isaiah 60: 1-2)
The theme of the retreat was “rise up”. The Logos team brought lots of fun filled projects which really made the students think lots about their relationship with God and the world around them. The students were able to reflect on their relationships with their peers and how to be more inclusive and grateful.
The students finished the day joyfully and came away with a greater understanding of the appreciation and love they show to the world and to each other as individuals.
