On the 2 and 3 May 2023 the Year 11 PE Studies classes set out to Adrenalin Forest in Bombay. We were accompanied by Mr. Bali, Miss Samaeli, Mr. Camp and Mr. Krause. Our focus this term has been risk taking and what appropriate behaviours we can use to ensure our safety and well-being whilst benefiting ourselves and those around us – the Adrenalin Forest was certainly the place for both. This is a place that features over 100 challenging climbing, jumping and swinging ‘high ropes’ courses, each level getting harder than the last with varying heights above ground.
We had to push through any fears or concerns we had prior to the event, in order to get the most out of the experience given to us. Whilst some struggled to find confidence at first, once we started supporting and encouraging one another, many were able to thrive and have fun. It was an extremely challenging course, especially due to the rainy conditions. However, we were able to put our appropriate behaviours into place to build a safe and enjoyable environment for all.
A very big thank you to everyone who contributed to making this day special for all of us.
