Orienteering is a new sport for Sancta Maria College, which is being introduced to Year 7 and 8 students under the guidance of Mrs Bell.
Sixteen Y7 and Y8 boys and girls went to Farm Cove Intermediate to take part in the weekly Orienteering challenge. Each student competes against themselves by aiming to improve on their time from the week before. The students are enjoying learning new map reading skills as well as how to work together. We would like to thank the parents who helped out with transport: Mrs Churton, Mrs Andre and Mrs Taylor.
